Mantlebox does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What Mantlebox does

Mantlebox is a photo frame app. It reads photos from an album you choose in your Apple Photos library and displays them as a full-screen slideshow on your device.

Data we collect

None. Mantlebox collects no personal information, usage data, analytics, or crash reports.

Photos library access

Mantlebox requests access to your Photos library solely to display your photos on screen. Your photos are:

Read directly from your device — never uploaded anywhere
Never shared with third parties
Never stored outside of Apple's Photos framework on your device

You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

App settings

Your preferences (selected album, slideshow interval, display options, etc.) are saved locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults system. This data never leaves your device.

Third-party services

Mantlebox uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or external services of any kind. The app makes no network requests.

Children's privacy

Mantlebox does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date at the top. Given the nature of the app, we do not anticipate any material changes.
